QMUL Housing Services were caught in the act of trying to promote their own favorite landlords, by one of their own PHd students who decided to do the right thing by informing the disadvantaged landlord. The latter's complaints to the QMUL Residential Services team went on deaf ears who insisted that the PHd student find someone to corroborate his allegations. He had just come to London and was new to QMUL and had no motive to be lying about the Housing Services team whose services might prove useful to him some day !!!

AMAZON.CO.UK and DPD.CO.UK scandal

Amazon Logistics and DPD have both let me down badly when they delived the TV stand I ordered. On each of the days 9th , 10th,11th,12th,13th and 14th September AMAZON.CO.UK sent an email saying that the AMAZON package would be delivered on that day. For six days in succession I was let down by Amazon logistics and DPD who couldn't find my flat although I had requested Amazon to have the driver phone me to help him locate my flat. Each time the AMAZON (and DPD)driver said i was not at home , although I was. In one case on the 12th Sep the DPD driver said that he had actually left a calling card through my door. The video shows how ludicrous this DPD driver's excuse was because he would never have had access through the main entrance without me giving him access from my flat through the intercom system. Finally on the 13th Sep ,I decided enough was enough and traced the trajectory of the DPD driver though DPD's tracking system . When I saw that the dpd driver had spent 20 min in Stepney Way(300 yards from my flat) I rushed down looking for his van. I finally found the DPD driver and confronted him and prevented him from driving away as the other AMAZON and DPD drivers had done in the preceding five days. I only got my package because I had to take the initiative and chase the DPD driver through the streets of London instead of the DPD delivering it to me!!!

Amazon.co.uk have refunded the full cost of the package which was the only decent course of action . AMAZON.CO.UK have however denied me the right to publish my critical review of the purchase in the Amazon.co.uk website in which I clearly stated that there was no problem with Amazon.co.uk's product itself but with the Amazon Logistics and DPD delivery which was extremely bad.
DPD are meant to be investigating but have thus far not contacted me directly nor apologized to me directly.
This is really a scandal for both AMAZON.CO.UK and DPD.CO.UK

QUEEN MARY RESIDENCES scandal

QUEEN MARY UNIVERSITY ,LONDON ,PRIVATE ACCOMMODATION farce-Private Landlords have to pay every year to advertise in Queen Mary STUDENT PAD qmul.studentpad.co.uk/
The Queen Mary Residential Services are a law unto themselves. My lodger, a PHD student at Queen Mary first contacted the Student Pad website then went to QUEEN MARY RESIDENTIAL SERVICES in QUEEN MARY UNIVERSITY-he was discouraged from viewing my flat when he mentioned my STUDENT PAD ad -she said I was a "troublesome" landlord although she had never met me. When I went to see the QUEEN MARY Residential services manageress ,she was unsympathetic.For her staff to slander a LANDLORD and discourage a QUEEN MARYstudent from visiting a potential landlord is inexcusable, after all the landlord is paying to advertise his ACCOMMODATION at QMUL RESIDENTIAL SERVICES STUDENT PAD.

GATWICK EXPRESS ONLINE FIASCO

GATWICK EXPRESS ONLINE should get their act together. Although I bought a return ticket using my debit card with GATWICK EXPRESS ONLINE, my ticket was given away to someone else and I was forced to buy another return ticket and incur unnecessary telephone costs whilst phoning GATWICK EXPRESS. IN THE END GATWICK EXPRESS ONLINE WORKED OUT MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE!!!

MUSMEAH YESHUA SYNAGOGUE YANGON

MUSMEAH YESHUA SYNAGOGUE is in an immaculate state of repair compared with the JEWISH CEMETERY YANGON which is in a shocking state. The trustees need to give the JEWISH CEMETERY YANGON  a facelift the same way as they maintain the MUSMEAH YESHUA SYNAGOGUE. The graves are overgrown with bushes which harbour snakes and scorpions.

JEWISH CEMETERY YANGON SHOCKING STATE OF DISREPAIR

This Jewish Cemetery YANGON is affiliated with the MUSMEAH YESHUA SYNAGOGUE YANGON, but although the latter is kept in an immaculate state with the help of donations the former, the JEWISH CEMETERY Yangon is kept is a shocking state of disrepair. How about the trustees of the Musmeah Yeshua synagogue spending some of the donations to get rid of the tall grass between gravestones harbouring cobras so that we the relatives can pay our respect to our dearly beloved who have the misfortune to be buried in the jewish cemetery yangon?

SWAN HOUSING EXMOUTH ESTATE LIFT VANDALIZED

Swan Housing exmouth estate lift has been vandalized -this is due to the inner lobby lift door being left permanently opened by Swan Housing .It is accessible to at least 6 other entrances and exits and for this reason Swan Housing needs to reactivate it and render it accessible only with a fob. Swan Housing is aware that the lift is used as a urinal and are doing nothing to stop it . Swan Housing should alternatively put a CCTV in front of the lift door to deter vandals and ASB

Swan Housing,we want a lift not toilet !

Swan Housing Exmouth Estate refuse to tackle the ASB of urinating in the lift head on and continue to leave the inner lobby of the lift deactivated . They refuse to put a CCTV camera just outside the lift door even though this ASB has been ongoing for 5 years. They claim the residents would not want to pay the extra charge of running the CCTV. But we are paying for another CCTV just yards away -the running costs would be no different to view the lift entrance on the same monitor.

SWAN HOUSING'S LIFT PISSES ME OFF

Swan Housing Exmouth Estate has done nothing to resolve the problem of urinating in the lift for nearly 5 years now. They refuse to put a CCTV in front of the lift door nor do they reactivate the inner lift lobby entrance door.Swan Housing are reminded that this is a serious breach in the Health and Safety regulations

SWAN HOUSING ASSOCIATION LTD , EXMOUTH ESTATE's SLIPPERY STAIRWELLS

Swan Housing Association Ltd Exmouth Estate's stairwells are remain slippery and flooded even in dry weather  because of a primitive system of directing rainwater from the roof directly onto the stairwells. Swan Housing should be well aware of the Health and Safety risks involved and that old people especially are very vulnerable. Swan Housing Exmouth Estate had better put their residents first for a change !

SWAN HOUSING EXMOUTH ESTATE CCTV WASTE OF OUR MONEY

Swan Housing Exmouth Estate has installed a CCTV in Musbury Street to be paid for by us residents supposedly to protect us from vandalism yet is not able to uncover the perpetrator who has constantly been damaging the 6-61 Musbury Street entrance door situated just under the CCTV camera. What a farce . IS SWAN HOUSING EXMOUTH ESTATE REALLY INTERESTED IN PROTECTING THE ESTATE FROM VANDALISM ? OR IS IT USING THE CAMERA FOR ITS OWN PURPOSES? MAYBE TO SPOT UNAUTHORISED VEHICLES PARKED UP IN THE ESTATE AND HAVE THEM TOWED AWAY AND COLLECT HEFTY FINES . ALL AT OUR EXPENSE. IF THIS IS THE CASE IT MEANS THAT WE ARE PAYING FOR SURVEILLENCE WHICH ENRICHES SWAN HOUSING'S COFFERS. A SCANDAL.

SWAN HOUSING EXMOUTH ESTATE'S diabolical barrier doorstop

Swan Housing Exmouth Estate's doorstop was originally right in the middle of a very narrow pavement ready to trip unsuspecting residents but after formal complaints they moved it to the top of the doorframe -that was the best achievement of Swan Housing's until Swan decided to erect the barrier in this already extremely narrow entrance lobby. Some nights when the entrance gets congested with parked cars residents have to carry their pushchairs above their heads because the narrow pavement is now blocked by the barrier . Once a week Swan Housing put their refuse bins on the narrow pathway designated for pedestrians so that residents have to risk stepping in the pathway of crazy young drivers who tear down Musbury Street and want to park up in a hurry. Swan Housing had better start putting the convenience of residents as first priority.
